Our story begins in March of 2022, in Denver, Colorado. Kyle and I met on Hinge, but I'll tell you if it weren't for my persistence we wouldn't be where we are today. While Kyle will tell you he NEVER would have swiped left on me, I swear I swiped right on Kyle several times before he finally decided to message me back.

I had moved to Denver about a year earlier to be closer to my brother Garrett, who was living out in Denver going to school. Kyle had lived in the city for a couple of years at that point, but we both were just as excited to be in the city and experience all it had to offer.

After exchanging phone numbers and talking for a few days, we decided it was time to move the conversation offline and actually meet in person. Our first date was at Postino Wine Bar in LoHi, which quickly became one of our favorites, and from the moment we sat down, the conversation flowed as easily as the wine. We shared one too many bottles and talked for hours, laughing and learning all about each other.

Kyle will say that he knew I was "the one" that night—but it took me just a little longer (much to Kyle's dismay) to admit it! Not long after, we went on our second date... and then a third, and a fourth, until we ended up pretty much inseparable.
